People around the world are
celebrates 21th May World Milk Day very differently. 3 different
activities are organized in Kocaeli. One of these activities has been
located at Belsa Plaza where is the one of the crowded place of İzmit.
This activity organized by our Managership and İzmit Municipality
together and various companies distributed milks to citizens for free.There
were a lot of participation by Kocaeli citizens. Manager of Province
Agriculture Administration Abdullah Öztürk, Coadministrator of Kocaeli
Province Kerim METE, and Control Department Manager Halide CANAYLI and
also Manager of İzmit Municipality Dr. Nevzat DOĞAN participated to this
organization. Mini football competitions are played in another
organization located at park of Doğu Kışla which has been organized by
Province Agriculture Administration, Administrative Province of Kocaeli,
Province National Police, and Society Hamle (Bilgi Evleri).In addition,
our managership has participated to this competition with our own
football team. 1000 litre milk distibuted for free at the end of the
competition. The third and the last organization located in
neighborhoods of Serdar, Kozluk, Terzibayırı and Kireçocakları and
organized by our managership, Administrative Province of Kocaeli,
Society of Hamle (Bilgi Evleri) , and Province National Police. 4000
litres milks were distributed for free in this organization. Manager of
Province Agriculture Administration Abdullah ÖZTÜRK explained that The
aim of World Milk Day is to help society make healthy beverage choices
and to raise consumer awareness about the importance of milk in their
daily lives. |
